A Tour of the Eastern Himalayas

India is one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world. It is a world within itself and this tour shows you the variety that is there with its vibrant and colorful cultures, massif Kanchenjunga mountains and the world famous tea gardens of Darjeeling.

We start the tour in Delhi which is home to many famous monuments such as Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb and many others. From Delhi we take a fight to Bagdogra and drive to the hill station of Kalimpong to visit some renowned flower nurseries. The next day we drive to Gangtok the state capital of Sikkim. Our next destination is Pelling in west Sikkim, from where we get the mighty and magnificent views of Kanchenjunga, Mt. Jopnu, Mt. Pandim and other surrounding peaks. Sun setting on the Kanchcnjunga will leave you spell bound. From Pelling we drive to the hill station of Darjeeling which is famous for it's tea industry and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. In Darjeeling we will also visit the famous Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) where Tenzing Sherpa has donated his gears which he used in 1948 to climb Mt. Everest.  From Darjeeling we drive to Bagdogra and take the fight to Delhi.

Day 08: Drive to Darjeeling
Day 09: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Day 10: Drive to Bagdogra Airport and catch a flight to Delhi
Day 11: Final departure
